Cubs Blank Marlins

     The Chicago Cubs shut out the Miami Marlins 4-0 at Wrigley Field on Saturday. Miami(48-59), who have lost 10 of their last 15 games, was held to just five hits in the contest. 

     Chicago(43-63) had one run in the fourth, two runs in the fifth and one run in the sixth. The Cubbies capped the victory in the bottom of the sixth with a solo home run by P.J. Higgins on a 1-0 pitch to left field for his fifth homer of the year.
