The St. Thomas Aquinas went up to Port St. Lucie and beat the Treasure Coast Titans 21-7 on Friday night. Both high schools made it to the FHSAA postseason last year and had never faced each other in a football game until tonight.
The contest was not started for over one hour due to a weather delay. Neither team was able to score during the first half of play.
St. Thomas Aquinas(5-0) has been victorious in their last 18 games and last lost a game since Week 2 in 2021 against Jesuit. The Raiders have outscored their five opponents 191-58 this season. STA will host the Miramar Patriots in a week.
Treasure Coast(1-4) has had a tough time to begin the 2022 regular season. It does not get any easier next week as the Titans travel to Chaminade-Madonna.
