Former Miami Heat point guard Tim Hardaway was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts on Saturday. He joins former Heat teammate Alonzo Mourning with that distinct honor.
Hardaway began his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors. He was traded to the Miami Heat in February 1996. Hardaway helped the Heat franchise reach the NBA Playoffs six consecutive seasons from 1996 until 2001. Miami reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 1997 and fell in five games to the eventual NBA champions the Chicago Bulls.
