Len Weiner New WQAM Program Director

     Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM program director Len Weiner has added duties as the new program director of Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM. He replaces Ryan Maguire who is leaving Miami and joining KIRO-FM in Seattle as the vice president of news and programming.
     Weiner became the program director at The Ticket in March 2014 when the station was still on the AM and FM bands. He was the program director of several Genesis Communications radio stations in Tampa which included WHBO-AM, WWBA-AM and WMGG-AM from 2011 until March 2014.
     He once was the program director at KMPC-AM in Los Angeles and moved on to ESPN Radio in Connecticut. Weiner followed that with stints as a program director at WMVP-AM and WGN-AM in Chicago. He became the program director at WAMG-AM in Boston before heading down to Florida.
