Comcast took off Bally Sports Florida and Bally Sports Sun from their cable systems back on May 1. All Miami Marlins game broadcasts have not been seen on Xfinity since then. The Marlins will make their return even though the club has the second worst record in the National League and are unlikely to reach the postseason.
Miami Heat game broadcasts will continue to air on Bally Sports Sun on South Florida Comcast cable systems for the 2024-25 NBA season. Other specialty shows from the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Hurricanes will also be seen.
One professional sports team that has moved on from Bally Sports and their parent company Diamond Sports Group was the Florida Panthers. Local Comcast subscribers in South Florida were unable to see special postgame programming of Florida Panthers playoff games in their final contest of the Eastern Conference Finals and following all seven 2024 Stanley Cup Final games. The Panthers announced Scripps Sports as their new television home earlier this month.
