Florida Panthers Terrestrial Radio Rights

It is over one month away from the start of 2022-23 NHL regular season and the Florida Panthers have not yet announced what their plans are for their terrestrial radio rights. The team completed a three-season deal with 560 WQAM-AM as their flagship radio station that ended at the conclusion of the 2021-22 campaign.
The club may be looking at several options. The Miami Heat recently announced last month a deal to move their radio rights from Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM to Audacy sister-station WQAM.
It would be a tough fit for the Panthers on 560 WQAM. They would be fourth in the pecking order on that radio station behind the Miami Dolphins, University of Miami Hurricanes football team and Miami Heat.
The Panthers could end up on another South Florida radio station as their new flagship. The choices could include 790 The Ticket, Fox Sports Radio 940 WINZ-AM, 610 WIOD-AM. Fox Sports Radio 640 WMEN-AM or an FM frequency station.
Another option could be for the Panthers to just audio stream their games on the internet either on their own website or through some audio streaming carrier such as Audacy, iHeartRadio or TuneIn. Three National Hockey League teams that are not on terrestrial radio and currently stream exclusively are the New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks.
