Phillies Pound Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies dominated the Miami Marlins 11-1 at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday night. Miami(77-81) will not have a winning season this year.
The Marlins had their season-high, seven-game winning streak snapped by Philadelphia(93-65). The Fish will complete their nine-game road trip and play their final road contest of 2025 tomorrow.
Kyle Schwarber of the Phillies hit two homer in the contests. He set a MLB record with 23 home runs in one season for a left-handed batter against left-handed pitching. Stan Musial had 22 home runs for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1949 and so did Matt Olson of the Oakland A's in 2021.
