Marlins Held Off By Guardians

     The Miami Marlins were defeated by the Cleveland Guardians 3-2 at loanDepot park on Friday night. It was a rematch of the 1997 World Series between both teams. The Marlins have been victorious in 16 of their last 21 contests. 

     Cleveland(49-46) collected two runs in the fourth inning and one run in the fifth inning for a 3-0 advantage. Miami(52-43) got one run during the bottom of the sixth and one run in the bottom of the seventh, however they fell short.
