Magic Spanks Heat

The Miami Heat traveled up the Florida Turnpike to take on the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center on Wednesday night to begin a six-game road trip. Miami lost the game 102-89. The Heat did not hold the lead once in the contest. The Magic got on a 9-2 run to take a 20-11 lead with four minutes left in the first quarter. Orlando led 26-18 after one quarter. Just four minutes into the second quarter, the Heat were down by 17 points 44-27. Miami closed the gap to 53-50 at halftime after going on a 23-9 spurt. Dwyane Wade had 22 points and LeBron James added 15 at the half. Orlando owned the third quarter when they made a 17-2 run and led 77-61 after three periods. The Heat were down by ten points 87-77 with just over five minutes left in the game, but Orlando continued to roll. Wade ended up with 33 points to lead the Heat in scoring. James had 17 points and 10 assists. Mario Chalmers missed his first game this season.
