The B's won Game 7 of their first-round series versus the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. The Panthers have not played a contest since they eliminated the Tampa Bay Lightning last Monday.
It will be the second straight year and the third time in history that the Florida Panthers and the Boston Bruins will meet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Bruins had the regular season record last season and blew a 3-1 series lead to the Panthers in the first round.
The Panthers will host the Bruins in Game 1 on Monday and Game 2 on Wednesday. The series will move to Boston for Game 3 on Friday and Game 4 next Sunday. The Cats will be home for Game 5 on May 14, the Bruins will host Game 6 on May 17 and Florida will play at home in Game 7 on May 19.
