Cardinal Gibbons(6-4) rocketed out to a 21-0 advantage by the end of the first quarter. Deerfield Beach(1-8) did get on the scoreboard with a touchdown in the second quarter, however they were down 34-6 at halftime. The Chiefs outscored the Bucks 7-6 during the third quarter and had a comfortable 41-12 lead.

Cardinal GIbbons Wallops Deerfield Beach
The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs dismantled the Deerfield Beach Bucks 48-6 at Dr. Bud Tight Field in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday night. The Bucks finished with their worst season in the 21st century while the Chiefs will enter the FHSAA postseason next week as District 13-2A champions.
