Marlins Walk Off Mets

     The Miami Marlins swept the New York Mets with a 4-0 victory at loanDepot park on Sunday. The Marlins completed a seven-game homestand. New York(22-32) and the Marlins were held scoreless through eight innings of play.

     Miami(25-29) was able to load the bases in the bottom of the ninth. Heriberto Hernandez smacked a grand-slam home run  to center field on a 0-1 pitch for his second homer of the year. Esteury Ruiz, Liam Hicks and Xavier Edwards scored in front of him on the play.
