Adam Lichtenstein New Miami Hurricanes Reporter

     Adam Lichtenstein has been promoted to the new position of University of Miami Hurricanes beat reporter at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. He has been the high school sports reporter and recruiting writer in Broward County and Palm Beach County for the newspaper since September 2018.

     Lichtenstein did similar work prior to his stint at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. He was the high school sports beat writer for the Palm Beach Post from 2015 until June 2018. 

     He takes over the Hurricanes beat from editorial assistant Brett Shweky, who has filled in that position since early December. 

     Lichtenstein will be the fourth person at that post. David Furones was the University of Miami athletic writer until last summer and was shifted to Miami Dolphins coverage. Khobi Price moved over from the FAU reporter position and stayed on the Canes beat until the end of November 2021. He is currently the Orlando Magic beat writer for the Orlando Sentinel.
