ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM had the first complete period with their new weekday lineup. It included Ken LaVicka along with guest co-hosts in middays, Josh Cohen and The Hometeam in afternoons and Evan Cohen announcing five-minute sports segments.
Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM dropped from a five-year high of 0.8 to a 0.6. The Florida Panthers remained near the top of the National Hockey League standings. Florida Atlantic University basketball came off the holiday break and played more conference games.
Sports Radio 1230 The Zone WBZT-AM stayed at a 0.0 in January just like during the holiday period. They have registered a 0.0 for the 20th time in the last 24 periods. CBS Sports Radio continued to be heard seven days a week and the University of Florida Gators basketball game broadcasts were piped in.
