Starting pitcher Chris Paddack has returned to the Miami Marlins. He has signed a one-year contract that is worth $4 million.
He was selected in the eighth round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Marlins. Paddack was traded by Miami to the San Diego Padres for Fernando Rodney in June 2016.
Paddack pitched for the Padres from 2019 until 2021. He then spent four seasons with the Minnesota Twins from 2022 to 2025. Paddack split last season between the Twins and the Detroit Tigers.
