Team USA Visits White House

     The Team USA men's hockey team visited The White House in Washington D.C. to meet United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday. The group of players included Florida Panthers right wing and Team USA alternate captain Matthew Tkachuk. 
     The United States defeated Team Canada 2-1 in overtime in the gold medal game at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy on Sunday. It was the first gold medal for the United States in men's hockey since 1980 in Lake Placid. 
     Team USA players were in the gallery for the State Of The Union Address held at the United States Capitol on Tuesday night. The team was mentioned during the speech.
