Recent Miami Dolphins Transactions
Since the NFL lockout ended on August 1, the Dolphins have made numerous decisions in player personnel. Their two starting running backs over the last five years both became free agents. Ronnie Brown joined the Philadelphia Eagles while Ricky Williams went to the Baltimore Ravens. Jason Taylor signed as a free agent and will begin his third stint with the Dolphins. Taylor, who is currently the NFL active leader in all-time sacks with 132, will be placed as a linebacker on the depth chart instead of a defensive end where he has played his entire career. Linebacker Channing Crowder was released after six seasons with the team and announced his retirement last week on the Sid Rosenberg show. Crowder will join 560 WQAM in an on-air talent role.
