The National Hockey League announced that Phase 3 of the plan to start play again has been agreed to between the NHL and the National Hockey League Players Association. Teams will be able to begin their training camps on July 10. Phase 4 of when and where the 2019-20 season will continue has not been determined.
The Florida Panthers will be one of 24 NHL clubs to open training camp on that day. They will prepare for their upcoming qualifying round best-of-five series against the New York Islanders. The Panthers likely will practice at their facility in Coral Springs or at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
