Former local high school running back Zack Moss has signed a four-year contract with the Buffalo Bills worth $4.6 million. He was taken by the Bills in the third round with the 86th overall selection of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Moss spent the first three years of high school football at Mater Academy. He played his senior year in 2015 at Hallandale and helped the Chargers defeat the two-time defending FHSAA Class 5A state champions American Heritage in the regional semifinal.
He moved on to the University of Utah along with his high school teammate quarterback Tyler Huntley. Moss helped the Utes make the Pac-12 Conference title game in 2018 and 2019.
