David Schultz Exits WNSP

Former Miami radio sportscaster David Schultz is no longer the afternoon host at WNSP-FM in Mobile. He also held the role of program director at that radio station. He joined WNSP back in August 2019.
Schultz worked as the Florida Marlins reporter, Florida Panthers reporter, sports anchor and fill-in host at 560 WQAM-AM from 2009 until 2011. He was a minor league baseball radio play-by-play announcer with the Syracuse Chiefs, Harrisburg Senators, Somerset Patriots, Jacksonville Suns and Peoria Chiefs prior to his arrival to South Florida.
After two years away from broadcasting, he landed at KLWB-FM as the morning host and program director at Lafeyette, Louisiana in September 2013. The program was later simulcasted on KXKW-TV. Schultz left both positions in March 2019.
Schultz, a SUNY-Oswego grad, launched the Shut Up Dave Podcast in April 2019. He then began to host a Sunday morning show on KPEL-AM in May 2019.
