Canadiens Extend Sam Montembeault

     The Montreal Canadiens have given goalie Sam Montembeault three-year contract extension worth $9.45 million. He has been with the Canadiens for the past three seasons. 

     Montembeault played two seasons with the Florida Panthers in 2018-19 and 2019-20. He compiled a 9-8-3 record in 25 games with a 3.20 goals-against-average.
