Jesus Aguilar Going To Japan

     Former Miami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar is heading for Japan. He is about to sign a contract to play for the Seibu Lions in Nippon Professional Baseball. Aguilar was with the Oakland A's in 2023.

     Aguilar played with Miami for three seasons from 2020 to 2022. He helped the Marlins reach the postseason in 2020 for the first time in 17 years. Aguilar compiled 45 home runs, 176 runs batted in and a .747 OPS in 295 games with the team.
