Miami(10-4) got out to a 7-0 lead at 7:37 of the first quarter. Running back Raheem Mostert rushed around the left end from two yards away. It became 10-0 when Jason Sanders kicked a 37-yard field goal one minute into the second quarter.
The Dolphins increased it to 17-0 at the 7:42 mark of the second. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa connected a 60-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on the left sideline.
New York(5-9) trailed 24-0 with 1:03 left in the first half. Mostert picked up his second touchdown run when he waltzed into the left side the end zone from one yard out.
The Fins added to their lead in the second half. Sanders booted a 27-yard field goal with 8:39 to go in the third quarter. He later nailed a 35-yard field goal just 14 seconds into the final quarter for a 30-point gap.
