The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated the Miami Heat 149-128 on Friday night at Rocket Arena. Both clubs played against each other at the same venue back on Wednesday.
Cleveland(46-28) rolled out to a 40-27 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Cavs added on to their lead and had an 81-46 advantage at halftime.
Miami(39-35) cut the lead slightly and were down 109-87 after three quarters. The Cavaliers continued to hold a double-digit lead throughout the final quarter.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. lifted the Heat with a team-high 20 points. Bam Adebayo contributed a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Norman Powell powered in 15 points while Kel'el Ware drained in 14 points.
Former Miami player Max Strus led Cleveland with a game-high 29 points. Three Cavs players finished with double-doubles. James Harden had 17 points and 14 assists, Evan Mobley composed 23 points and 10 rebounds and Jarrett Allen compiled 18 points and 10 rebounds.
