The Miami Marlins overtook the Colorado Rockies 4-3 on Saturday at loanDepot park. The Marlins started a season with a 2-0 record for the first time since 2014. The Fish will go for the three-game sweep on Sunday.
Colorado(0-2) moved in front 3-1 in the top of the fourth. Ezequiel Tovar homered to left-center field with Willi Castro aboard on a 0-1 count.
Miami(2-0) evened it up 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth. Kyle Hicks lifted a two-run homer off the upper-deck facade in right field on a 2-1 pitch. Agustin Ramirez scored in front of him on the play.
The Marlins took their first lead in the game 4-3 during the seventh inning. Owen Caissie singled up the middle for Otto Lopez to score.
