Dwyer Edged By Palm Beach Gardens

The Palm Beach Gardens Gators outlasted the Dwyer Panthers 14-10 in a District 12-5A matchup on Friday night at Mullinax Ford Stadium. It was a battle between two Palm Beach County teams that are four miles apart on Military Trail.

The Gators won their fifth straight game in this crosstown rivalry. The Panthers won 13 consecutive meetings between both squads before that from 2008 to 2021.

Dwyer(2-3, 0-2) took a 7-0 lead on a one-yard touchdown run up the middle in the first quarter. Palm Beach Gardens(2-3, 2-0) would get the momentum during the middle of the game scoring two touchdowns to lead 14-7. The Gators held the Panthers to a field goal for the rest of the contest.
