Amigo Leaves WMEN For WINZ

Larry Milian a.k.a The Amigo has left the morning show at WMEN and will join WINZ as a sports host from 3 to 5 p.m. beginning in January. The announcement came this afternoon during the The Big O Show with Orlando Alzugaray. After a short stint as a WMEN weekend host, Milian joined the morning show as a co-host with Miami Herald sports columnist Armando Salguero in late July 2010. They were known as Armando and The Amigo. He previously worked as a co-host on the late night show and weekend show Dos Amigos with Alan Strauss at WAXY. He won an on-air contest with Stauss in late 2005 to join that station.
