Mark Buehrle Signs With Marlins
Former Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle signed a four-year 58 million dollar contract with the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. He rejoins Marlins manager Ozzie Gullien who managed him in Chicago for eight seasons. Buehrle made his major league baseball debut with the White Sox in 2000 and won a world championship in 2005. In 12 seasons with the pale hoses, he went 161-119 with 1,396 strikeouts and a 3.83 ERA. He pitched a no-hitter in April 2007 and a perfect game in July 2009. The Marlins have now signed Buehrle along with Jose Reyes and Heath Bell as free agents in the past week.
