Jon Linder returned to the local airwaves this week as a fill-in host at 640 Sports WMEN-AM. He had not been heard in South Florida since earlier this year on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM.
Linder had a long stint in the 2000's as an afternoon host and later a Sunday morning host at 770 WWCN-AM in Fort Myers. He joined WQAM in 2007 and worked as a sports reporter/fill-in host for them. Linder became a late night football host from August until late December 2011. He was elevated to the University of Miami Hurricanes football studio host position from 2010 until 2012.
