The Florida Panthers acquired defensemen Keith Yandle from the New York Rangers on Monday for a 2016 sixth round draft pick and a conditional 2017 draft selection. The Panthers are taking a risk to sign him as he is an unrestricted free agent at the end of June.
Yandle had previously played for the Phoenix Coyotes for nine seasons and was traded to the New York Rangers in March 2015. He has 72 goals and 297 assists in 661 career games.
