The Miami Marlins held off the Atlanta Braves 3-1 on Saturday night at Marlins Park. The Fish have won two straight games.
Miami(53-78) scored their first run during the sixth inning. J.T. Realmuto hit a sacrifice fly to center field which brought home Rafael Ortega.
The Marlins stretched their margin to 3-0 in the bottom of the seventh. Brian Anderson nailed a two-run homer to left field on a 3-2 pitch that also scored Miguel Rojas.
Atlanta(72-56) made a late attempt to come back in the ninth inning. Dansby Swanson sent a solo home run over the left-field wall on a 2-2 count.
