The Miami Marlins xxxxx the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday at PNC Park. The game had a Major League Baseball exclusive broadcast window on Peacock at 12:15 p.m. today.
Miami(35-36) raced out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the second. Heriberto Hernandez blasted a solo home run to left field on a 2-2 pitch for his sixth homer of the season. Three batters later, Joe Mack collected his second career homer on 1-1 count to center field.
Pittsburgh(36-35) cut it to 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth. Jake Mangum singled into center field and Nick Gonzalez scored.
