Marlins xxxxx Cardinals

     The Miami Marlins xxxxx the St. Louis Cardinals with a x-x xxxxxx at Busch Stadium on Sunday. The Fish outscored the Redbirds in the three-game series. (It was the Marlins sweep over the Cardinals in the last 30 years. )

     St. Louis(42-38) got their first lead in the weekend series during the bottom of the second. Bryan Torres lifted a two-run homer on a 2-0 pitch barely over the right-field wall with Mason Wynn on board. It turned out to be third career home run for Torres. 

     Miami(44-39) closed it to 2-1 in the top of the fifth. Graham Pauley connected with a ground-rule double to the right-field corner and Owen Caissie reached home
