Moulton is best remembered for co-hosting sports shows with Mark Miller. They began together in July 2006 as afternoon co-hosts at 770 WWCN-AM. Their show added an FM simulcast on WWCN-FM and they were later shifted to the midday shift.
Both were hired as morning co-hosts at WFSX-AM in 2017 and stayed there until August 2021. Moulton and Miller joined the state-syndicated Florida Sports Network in October 2021 and had their morning program aired on 770 WBCN-AM in Fort Myers along with 1010 WHFS-AM and 1010 WJBR-AM in Tampa. The show's run ended at WBCN in February 2026 when the station was about to flip from a sports talk format. They were both added as morning co-hosts on Veterans Classic Rock at NEWHD Radio in April 2026 and did their last show together in August 2026 due to Moulton's health.
Moulton worked as a sports anchor at WZVN-TV Channel 7 in Naples, which began in 1999 prior to him hosting any radio programs in 2000. He was the radio play-by-play announcer of Florida Gulf Coast University starting in 2002. Moulton was also employed at the Naples Daily News and The News-Press as a sports columnist from 2007 until March 2018.
He was a spotter at CBS Sports for Gary Danielson on college football games beginning in 2006. His tenure lasted until the end of the 2014 season. Moulton became a spotter for Joe Buck at Fox Sports during golf events in 2015. He would be elevated to NFL contests with Buck and Aikman in 2018. All of them moved to Monday Night Football on ESPN and ABC in 2022.
