Jon Sciambi Announcing World Series

Former South Florida radio sportscaster Jon "Boog" Sciambi is the radio play-by-play announcer on ESPN Radio for the 2026 World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Rays. He is calling his fourth World Series as their radio voice.

Sciambi, a Boston College grad, spent time during the 1990s and early 2000s as a sportscaster in the  Miami market. He began as a producer and weekend host on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM. Sciambi then worked the evening shift followed by a midday co-host spot with original Florida Panthers radio play-by-play announcer Chris Moore. He later was the Florida Panthers Radio Network studio host in 1995-96 and 1996-97.

He eventually became the Florida Marlins Radio Network studio host in 1997. He added duties as a secondary radio play-by-play announcer in 1999. Sciambi held those positions until the conclusion of the 2004 regular season.
