Panthers Fall On Road
The Florida Panthers played two straight nights on the road and picked up one point out of four. The Cats were defeated by the Minnesota Wild 3-2 in overtime. Tomas Fleischmann scored his 25th goal while Scott Upshall added his second. The following night the Panthers fell to the team with the worst record in the NHL. They lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1. Tomas Kopecky put in his ninth goal of the season. The Panthers lead the Washington Capitals by four points in the Southeast Division. Florida finishes their four-game trip on the road against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena on Sunday.
