Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino has been let go by CBS from his NFL studio analyst role. He has held that position since the 2002 regular season. He once was a studio analyst for Inside The NFL on HBO from 2002 to 2007.
Marino played for the Miami Dolphins from 1983 until 1999. When he left the National Football League, he was the all-time leader in completions, passing yards and touchdown passes. Marino led the Dolphins to the 1984 AFC championship before they fell to the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 19. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
