Lynn Kerney will join ESPN as a sports anchor and studio host in late February. She has been the morning sports anchor at WCBS-TV Channel 2 in New York City since January 2012. Prior to that, she was a sports reporter for MLB Network from October 2010 until December 2011.
Kerney, a Lynn University grad, was a point guard and later captained the women's basketball team. Her first professional job was at KXLF-TV in Butte, Montana as a sportscaster from 2004 to 2005. She moved to Seattle to become a weekend sports anchor at KING-TV from 2005 until 2010.
