Former Florida Marlins pitcher Ryan Dempster has joined MLB Network as a studio analyst. He pitched for the Boston Red Sox last year and helped that club win the 2013 World Series over the St. Louis Cardinals. Former Marlins teammates Kevin Millar and Cliff Floyd both currently work with MLB Network.
Dempster played with the Marlins from 1998 until 2002 and had a record of 42-43 along with 628 strikeouts and a 4.64 ERA. He had stints with the Cincinnati Reds(2002-2003), Chicago Cubs(2004-2012) and the Texas Rangers(2012).
