The United States men's national soccer team made an appearance in Boca Raton on Tuesday night and tied Honduras 1-1 in an international friendly at Howard Schnellenberger Field on the campus of Florida Atlantic University.
The Americans struck first in the tenth minute as Boca Raton native and striker Jozy Altidore scored with an assist by Michael Bradley. It would be the only shot on goal by the U.S. in the game. Maynor Figueroa evened the match for Honduras late in the second half during the 86th minute of play.
