The Fort Lauderdale Strikers played their final home game of the NASL spring season and lost to the Indy Eleven 2-1 on Saturday night at Lockhart Stadium. The Strikers, currently in tenth place, are now winless in their last six games. Their next home game will be on July 11 against FC Edmonton.
Indy(2-3-4) scored the winning goal during the 90th minute of play with four minutes into injury time. Victor Pineda put in his second goal of the contest from 16 yards away. He scored an earlier goal at the 44th minute. Stefano Pinho scored in his second consecutive game for Fort Lauderdale(2-5-2) during the 23rd minute on a head ball from short distance.
