The Fort Lauderdale Strikers announced that the team has hired Gunter Kronsteiner as their new head coach. It will be his second reign with the club. His first match he will manage is on Wednesday night at Lockhart Stadium when the Strikers host Boca Juniors of Argentina in an international friendly game.
Kronsteiner had a previous tenure with Fort Lauderdale as he coached the entire 2014 season with the team which included a championship appearance against the San Antonio Scorpions in Soccer Bowl 2014. He did coach in 14 games during the 2013 Fall Season. Raoul Voss will also return to his post as an assistant coach which he held with the Strikers in 2013 and 2014.
