Former South Florida television sportscaster Guy Rawlings has joined WVTM-TV in Birmingham, Alabama as a news anchor. He had been at KTVA-TV and KTXA-TV in Dallas from November 2013 to November 2015 in a sportscaster capacity.
Rawlings had a long tenure at WTVJ-TV Channel 6 in Miami from 1997 until 2007 as a sports anchor and sports reporter. He moved on to Orlando and joined WESH-TV as a sportscaster from 2007 to November 2011. Rawlings, a University of Florida grad, left for Atlanta to become a news anchor at WGCL-TV from January 2012 until November 2012. He had previous stops earlier in his broadcasting career at television stations in Gainesville, Jacksonville, Charleston and Baltimore.
