Several South Florida on-air personalities were listed by Barrett Sports Media as part of the top 20 national sports talk shows in the United States for the second straight year. They are Dan Le Batard with Stugotz and Evan Cohen.
Dan Le Batard with Stugotz finished third nationally in 2017 behind Dan Patrick and Colin Cowherd. The program ended up in fourth place back in 2016. They broadcast a local one-hour mid-morning show on Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM prior to their national midday simulcast on ESPN Radio. Le Batard and Stugotz first formed as an afternoon show on The Ticket in August 2004.
Evan Cohen made a major jump as his Morning Men show with Mike Babchik on Mad Dog Radio at SiriusXM Radio moved up to 14th place in 2017. The program was tied for 20th nationally in 2016. Cohen still does an afternoon show on ESPN Radio 106.3 WUUB-FM in West Palm Beach. He has held that post at Good Karma Broadcasting for over 11 years.
