Dwyane Wade Traded To Miami Heat

The Miami Heat acquired Dwyane Wade from the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday for a second-round draft pick. Wade had played half of a season with the Cavs alongside LeBron James. He left the Heat as a free agent after the 2015-16 season and signed with the Chicago Bulls.
Wade played his first 13 seasons in the NBA with the Heat. He was drafted by the team with the fifth overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Wade helped the club capture three NBA titles in 2006, 2012 and 2013. They also won five Eastern Conference championships in 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He is a 12-time All-Star selection, a 2006 NBA Finals MVP and won the NBA scoring title in 2009.
