The Atlantic Eagles make the short trip down I-95 and take on the Boca Raton Bobcats on Friday night. It is a heated local rivalry between both schools that were once district foes.
Atlantic(1-1) was up by 14 points in the first quarter against West Boca Raton when they had their first contest stopped and postponed due to a weather delay. They fell to TRU Prep Academy last Saturday. Their offense will revolve around running back Montahj Joseph. Quarterback Guenson Alexis can get the ball to wide receivers Tyler Burke, Rashawn Faustine and Antoine Williams. The Eagles defense has been known for holding opponents to low scores with defensive back Jeremiah McClendon, safety Marquise Lymon and linebacker Nygil Shannon.
Boca Raton(2-0) will play their entire four-game slate of regular season games on their home field. The Bobcats defeated Boynton Beach along with Olympic Heights and outscored their two opponents 62-9. Running back Trotsky Horton will get most of the carries from the backfield. Expect quarterback Jacob Cashion to find wide receivers Hunter Mack, Collin Bender, Sebastien Saint-Louis and Samuel Bach on passing plays.
