Raptors Ramble By Heat

The Toronto Raptors shelled the Miami Heat 121-97 at Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night. It was the Heat's only road contest in a six-game stretch.
Toronto(16-25) raced out to a 15-6 lead early in the opening frame and led 41-18 at the end of the first quarter. The Raptors extended the gap to more than 30 points with nine minutes left in the second quarter and almost doubled up the Heat 78-43 at halftime.
Miami(24-17) went on a 24-10 run to begin the second half and trailed 94-73 after three quarters. Miami had a 12-5 spurt to start the final quarter, but they were too far behind to make it competitive.
Jimmy Butler ended up with a 16 points for the Heat while Tyler Herro dropped in 16 points. Bam Adebayo was able to contribute 16 points and Duncan Robinson had 14 points. R.J. Barrett helped the Raptors with 26 points and eight rebounds.
