The Miami Marlins defeated the Tampa Rays 7-3 at Tropicana Field on Saturday night. It was the first time that the Marlins beat the Rays this season following four losses in previous contests.
Miami(17-17) piled on four runs during the fourth inning and never looked back. Corey Dickerson burned his former team with a two-run homer to center field on a 0-1 pitch and capped the frame.
After being down 5-0, Tampa Bay(27-13) broke the shutout in the bottom of the fifth. Michael Perez doubled into right field and Yoshi Tsutsugo crossed the plate.
