Marte Leads Marlins Over Blue Jays

New Marlins player Starling Marte hit a go-ahead home run as the Miami Marlins topped the Toronto Blue Jays 3-2 on Tuesday night at Marlins Park. Both clubs met each other two weeks ago and played in the first Major League Baseball game in Buffalo.
Toronto(18-16) skipped out to a 1-0 lead in the opening frame. Jonathan Villar, who was traded by the Marlins on Monday, grounded out to second for Cavan Biggio to score.
Miami(16-15) evened it up 1-1 in the bottom of the third. Jon Berti smacked a solo home run to center field on a 0-1 pitch.
In the fourth inning, the Blue Jays recaptured the lead 2-1. Derek Fisher drove in Rowdy Tellez on a sacrifice fly into left field.
The Fish tied it up in the sixth inning 2-2. Garrett Cooper doubled into right field which brought in Marte.
The Marlins finally got the lead in the bottom of the eighth. Marte blasted a solo homer to left-center field on a 1-0 count.
