Marlins Ink Devin Smeltzer

     The Miami Marlins have signed pitcher Devin Smeltzer to a minor league contract. He will be invited to the Marlins spring training camp in Jupiter for a chance to make their major league roster. 

     Smeltzer played his entire four-year career in the majors with the Minnesota Twins.  He had a 5-2 record with a 3.71 earned run average in 15 games with the Twins last season.
